Tegan and Sarah

Canadian duo Tegan and Sarah played a Sold-out show in Jan at The Enmore Theatre Sydney.

We supplied lighting production and digital consoles.

The lighting rig (operated by Jarred Hawke) consisted of 12 x MAC700 profiles, 8 x MAC250 Wash, 4 x Martin Atomic Strobes + color scrollers, 7 x ETC Profiles, 4 x 4 Liters, Unigue hazer + fan.

Used the house rigging and added 4 x 2m truss uprights.

Bullet for my Valentine

Bullet for my Valentine (currently on-tour for the Big Day Out) played their only Sydney sideshow at The Roundhouse in Sydney Jan 09.

We've done them before and it was great to catch up with Dave (their FOH/PM) again.

Dave used one of our Yamaha PM5D digital consoles at FOH and monitors used another digital console, Yamaha M7CL/48.

Local lighting guy Jason Watt used our lighting and rigger Bryce Mace to add to the in-house at The Roundhouse.

The Angels

Oz rock icons "The Angels" are back and touring Australia with their "classic lineup". With Doc Neeson back out front this is an awesome show.

We're looking after production for the whole tour using our Martin Wavefront, Midas Verona at FOH. Monitors use an A+H GL3300 + EV XW15 wedges.

Lighting is using an interesting combination of 24 x Par64, 16 x MultiPar (VNSP), Martin MAC250 Wash and MAC250 Entours as well as Molefay Duets and a Martin Atomic strobe.

There's also some nice floor lighting effects using some LED Par64 cans.

UnderOath

UnderOath played some Australian shows in Oct 08 to large crowds.

We supplied production for the Sydney show.

Martin Wavefront PA (24 Boxes) and our Yamaha PM5D at FOH.

Local Central Coast band - A Silent Fiction was the support

Shannon Noll - No Turning Back

Shannon Noll's new Australian tour is called "No Turning Back".

We're on-board with full production + crew.

Neale Mace was the lighting guy for these shows - using 6 x MAC250 Entour, 6 x LED HOneycomb 72, 4 x Martin TW1 and a Jands HOG1000.

Greg Weaver mixed the band on our Yamaha PM5D/RH, monitors were by James Leyden using our Yamaha M7CL/48.

The Bangles

The Bangles came back to Australia in Oct for their 2nd tour downunder. We supplied production + crew for these dates.

Theses pics are from The Enmore Theate (Sydney) - we used - 8 x MAC700, 2 x Studio Due CS4, 8 x Martin TW1 Wash, 3 x 4 Liters, 6 x MAC250 Wash, 8 x ETC Profiles, Unique Hazer and a Jands Hog1000.

Audio used our new Martin Audio W8LC Line Array with Dloby Lake Processing, Yamaha M7CL for monitors, and Midas Heritage 1000 at FOH.

The Whitlams

As part of their current Greatest Hits Tour we supplied production for The Whitlams at Belmont in Oct.

Yamaha M7CL for FOH, Martin Wavefront PA made a great sound at this sold-out show.

Bryce Mace did a great job on lighting using LED HoneyComb 72's, MAC250 Entours, MAC250 Wash a Jands HOG1000.

Mesuggah

Swedish metal band Mesuggah came through Australia in Oct for some shows.

We looked after them at The Roundhouse (Sydney).

Their engineer Thomas pulled a mighty sound, using our Martin Wavefront and Midas Heritage 1000 console.

Monitors used our Yamaha M7CL digital console and EV XW15 wedges, they worked hard as the band don't use any backline and rely on the wedges for all their stage sound.

Trivium

New metal band Trivium performed a one-off show at The Enmore Theatre, Sydney.

We supplied a full lighting gig - 8 x Martin TW-1, 8 x MAC700, 24 x Par64, 24 x MultiPar, 4 x Martin Atomic strobe, 4 x Molefay 4 liters, Robe Hazer.

Also supplied digital audio consoles - Digidesign Profile at FOH and a Yamaha M7CL on monitors.

Vanessa Amorosi toured throughout Australia in June/July in support of her new album "Somewhere in the Real world". The show was catered mainly for the Pub and RSL market and once again her lighting designer Rohan Thornton had to address a no smoke issue.

"Vanessa really doesn't like using smoke which isn't a great thing for a lighting person!" remarked Rohan. "Sometimes the lighting can look a bit bland without smoke."
